Publication Ethics
Breakthrough: A Multidisciplinary Journal is fully committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and integrity. The journal follows the guidelines set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and adheres to international best practices in scholarly publishing. All stakeholders—including authors, reviewers, editors, and the publisher—are expected to act with integrity, fairness, and transparency.
1. Responsibilities of Authors
Authors must ensure that their submissions are original, free from plagiarism, and not under consideration elsewhere.
Proper citation and acknowledgment of the work of others is mandatory.
All authors listed must have significantly contributed to the research.
Any conflicts of interest or funding sources must be disclosed.
Authors must agree to retract or correct their work if significant errors are discovered.
2. Responsibilities of Editors
Editors are responsible for fair and unbiased manuscript evaluations based solely on academic merit.
Editors must maintain confidentiality and avoid conflicts of interest.
The editorial team ensures a double-blind peer review process and handles ethical complaints transparently and promptly.
3. Responsibilities of Reviewers
Reviewers are expected to evaluate submissions objectively, confidentially, and within the agreed timeframe.
Reviewers must disclose any conflicts of interest and decline reviews where necessary.
Constructive feedback should be provided to improve the manuscript quality.
4. Plagiarism and Misconduct
The journal uses plagiarism detection tools to ensure originality. Manuscripts found to be plagiarized or manipulated will be rejected or retracted, and the authors may be blacklisted from future submissions.
5. Conflict of Interest
All parties involved in the publication process must disclose any financial or non-financial conflicts of interest that could influence their decisions.
6. Retraction and Correction Policy
The journal will issue corrections, clarifications, or retractions when necessary to maintain the accuracy and integrity of the published literature.
At Breakthrough: A Multidisciplinary Journal, we believe that ethical publishing is the cornerstone of scientific progress and credibility. By fostering a culture of transparency, respect, and responsibility, we aim to uphold trust in scholarly communication.
